Spice Dot Collection Launch

We are so excited to launch the arrival of our Spice Dot Collection. Featuring 4 styles of hand-dyed and hand-printed designs on soft bamboo fabric in an effortless collection that will bring life and comfort to your wardrobe.

These pieces are hand dyed with Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS) approved ink and dyes, which are free from chlorine bleach, toxic heavy metals, formaldehyde and aromatic solvents. GOTS is the world’s leading textile processing standard for organic fibres such as Bamboo, addressing multiple criteria in the production and supply.

After being hand dyed, the designs are then overprinted with the pattern at our print studio in Bali, located just a short distance from our manufacturing studio. These sustainable studios are nestled in the spiritual countryside, not far from the busy beaches of Kuta. Our small and dedicated team is made up of local men and women who work together with Fabrik’s founder Sarah to source the most eco-friendly fabrics available and produce prints with natural dyes and eco-friendly processes. This ensures that our practices leave no negative effects on the local environment. There is even a school of Koi fish who have made a home in our spare pond! You can read more about our printing studio and process on our blog here.

Team up the separates of this collection or adorn a spotty dress in a fabrication that is naturally smooth without chemical treatment; good for your body and for the environment. Spice Dot includes a flowing wrap dress (if you love our Dandelion Maxi Dress this ones for you), a full length skirt, a relaxed-fit top and a gorgeous puffy-sleeved dress with detailed stitching.

We can’t wait to see you in the Spice Dot Collection!

Our Digital Printing Process

We used Okeo-Tex Passport certified inks to digitally print these garments onto beautiful linen and cotton ramie fabrics. Eco Passport is an independent certification system for chemicals, colourants and auxiliaries used in the textile industry. During a multistep process, Okeo-Tex analyse whether each individual ingredient in the chemical product meets the requirements, and that it is not harmful to human health. Both brands and manufacturers value the Eco Passport as credible proof of sustainable textile production.
